PROMOTION
Flying – Officer Kenneth Cameron, a pilot serving with Coastal Command, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Cameron, of 1, Byron-street, Cheapside, has been promoted to the rank of flight-lieutenant.
Flt.-Lt. Cameron joined the R.A.F. over three years ago, and after training in Canada he was commissioned last April. Before joining up he was studying at Leeds University. While at the Burnley Grammar School he was both captain of the school and captain of the football and cricket teams.
