Preston Guardian Saturday 14 August 1847 Installation at Cambridge. At the installation of Prince Albert, the Rev. Daniel Sutcliffe, M.A., of Catherine Hall, Cambridge, had the degree of Bachelor of Divinity conferred upon him. Mr. Sutcliffe, who is the son of Mr. Robert Sutcliffe, lime merchant, of Burnley, is the curate of Worsthorne, near that town; and, although it is said that a prophet is generally without honour in his own country, we are assured that he is much respected by all classes and denominations of his parishioners. |
