Preston Guardian Saturday 5 July 1851 Hay Harvest The grass crops in the neighbourhood of Burnley have considerably improved within the last fortnight, during which time we have been highly favoured with genial weather. In many instances the scythe has been brought into operation, and should we be favoured with a continuance of fine weather, it will soon become general. |
