| Post subject: | Tithe apportionment records |
These were held in the parish chest. I am looking for where I can find the ones for Briercliffe in the 1600/1700's. Obviously to early for Haggate Baptist Chapel, so would they have been in St Peters Burnley, and if so, where are they now----Preston records office maybe? does anyone know?

Thanks Ken, have rung them as you suggested. They were only done as a one off in 1830. So that doesn't help me in the 1600/1700's. |
