24 Dec 1853 John Clegg 19 bachelor a labourer of Hollin Bank Little Marsden father Jonathon Clegg Labourer
marries Ann Whalley 18 Spinster of Hollin Bank Little Marsden Father Henry Whalley a Butcher

This is my family research area have details of censusiii !!

I am looking for the baptism of Ellen Whalley who married David Hunter, a coal miner at St. Barts Colne on 22.10.1836. Witnessat the wedding was Joseph Whalley ( was he father or brother?). Ellen died aged 53 on 21.6.1870, which would put her birth year around 1817. any connection do you think with your Whalleys.

Have you looked on Familysearch.org for her birth loads of Ellens on there
