Although not as prolific as in Bolton there have been a number of Haslams in Burnley. There is (was?) even a Haslam St. in Burnley. My great-grandfather, John Haslam, was a coal-miner from Holmesfield, Derbyshire (came to Burnley in the 1880s). His first wife, Amy Stevenson, was my great-grandmother. She died in her early 20s leaving 3 boys, Ernest, Herbert and John William. Herbert was my grandfather.

Does this ring any bells with anyone?

Sorry Derek, no Haslams in my lot that I have found.
