Anyone able to tell me the relationship generations are to each other? My cousins children are my cousins once removed :?: My second cousins children are my second cousins once removed? Does this work in a reverse order,i.e. what is my role to them :?:

What program do you use to store your family tree Hannah? Some programs have a relationship calculator.

Your cousin’s children are first cousins once removed. So your “second cousin” (Your Mum’s cousin’s cousin) is the same, first cousin once removed.

The child of your first cousin once removed is your second cousin.

I am the third cousin, 3 times removed to the artist, Noel Harry Leaver, and Maureen is the third cousin twice removed of the husband of N.H. Leaver.

It also works in reverse.

Confusing….?

Do you use your computer to store your family tree information?

It's easy to use too!

Hannah, if you don't use your computer to store your family tree you can download a programme free from the familysearch site. If you go to
http://www.familysearch.org/ENG/Home/we ... &password=

On the home page partway down on the right hand side it explains how to download a Free PAF. It is easy to use--I manage it
