Will look at the other later if no one else has sorted it by then. Got to go buy a new water bottle for my in-laws pigs - theirs has stopped working!

I am missing my Ancestry, I can't look things up anymore.

Mel---water bottle for pigs?????? I thought at first that it said "hot" water bottle.

Guinea Pigs. I have my two and my sister-in-laws two at the moment. The bottle had stopped working but Lyndon has managed to fix it so no need to pop out now. There was a blockage in the spout.
It's surprising how we take things for granted isn't it. I've used mine more in the last few days than I have for a while.

Kris, have a look at HO107/2254 folio 509 page 49. Living with a Hargreaves and a Hardacre. Could this be her. It's transcribed as Severs and I can see why.

Can you account for this death? Deaths Dec 1868 Lever Priscilla 30 Burnley 8e 137

Could this be her? I know the age is off but if she was lodging with various people, they may not have known her exact age and they wouldn't be able to ask her if she had died would they! It would explain not finding her on later census.

My money's with the 1851 entry Mel found - it was the only one I could come up with after trying all the permutations.

Putting it all together, she had a sister called Jane (1861 census). Jane had a sister called Sarah (1851 census) and Sarah married William Haworth.
In 1881, Sarah & William had, as a lodger, Bannister Leaver (1824) and I would say he was her brother. If so,that would make Jane, Sarah & Priscilla the daughters of Bannister (1780).
As we're going away tomorrow I'm a bit pushed for time to check it out.

That Priscilla Lever who died aged 30 in 1868, was residing at the workhouse and is buried at Burnley cemetery. viewtopic.php?f=17&t=83&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=15

Maybe it is her?

It does fit. I couldn't see any other possibilities but didn't look very hard.
