Anyone know if a will would be made by an average farmworker in about mid 1700? It would have been in Yorkshire?? |

Without looking, you can't say no for certain. I've had an early will from a weaver. |

We also have an early Will from a poor weaver. In the later part of the 19th century it seems less common for the poor to have made Wills. |

I have never found a will from my "poor" ancestors, either weavers or farmers. |
