Anyone know if a will would be made by an average farmworker in about mid 1700? It would have been in Yorkshire??

Without looking, you can't say no for certain. I've had an early will from a weaver.

We also have an early Will from a poor weaver. In the later part of the 19th century it seems less common for the poor to have made Wills.

I have never found a will from my "poor" ancestors, either weavers or farmers.
