Hi, can anyone help me please? I am looking for John Thomas Marlow, who was born at Walsall, Staffordshire, 21 July 1892. John Thomas was the son of Joseph Marlow and Isabell Kirby, and I can find his parents in the census returns, but J. T. Marlow is nowhere to be found. Does anyone have access to FREE shipping records and Passenger Lists? John Thomas Marlow immigrated to Canada sometime after 1911, and I think I found his arrival on the ancestry Canadian passenger lists, 1865-1935 (arrival Halifax, Nova Scotia). Kris, when we were in Halifax (NS) we visited pier 21 - the Canadian Ellis Island. I understood they had some records of immigration through Halifax. Might it be worthwhile emailing them to see what they have? |
