Not searching for my lot anymore I heard a big sigh of relief?

Looking for someone else.
Anyone have any access to info. ( I have tried Nelson Leader and Burnley paper for obituary)

Hermann Fletcher, died 23rd Dec. 1968
Wife Alice d. 27th April 1964.

No idea of his age at death but probably born around 1900 +- 10.
Trying to find where he originated from (not local with his name I should think?)
He was wealthy mill owner by 1920.

That is all we have, any 'grey cells' working that can guide me??

You have done it again Patricia. !! I have searched endless websites ( like I did on my fruitless search for my Newchurch relatives) I had begun to think he had migrated from somewhere out of the area. Thanks a lot, now to track down the mill he owned. Must have been in Nelson, methinks?

Thanks yet again, I have learnt a lot from the info. you have found. My best effort was checking Thomas on Family Search and his father is listed as John Walton??? Hopefully they have left the surname off.
