hi everyone my name is gill i am new to this site and already i am looking for help i have just learned that i have an aunty who was born at 16 deacon ave swinton manchester she was born on the 6 may 1942 what happend after that nobody knows . can you help me solve this mystery. thanks gill

Hi, I have been corresponding with Gill so I know that the person in question is Margaret Catlow (b. 6 May 1942 at 16 Beacon Ave., Swinton, Lancs), daughter of William Ernest Catlow (1912-1958) and Ethel May Lawley (1908).

William Ernest Catlow (1912-1958) married Ethel May Lawley (1908) at Bury, 19 December 1932 and they had three children, Lillian (1933), Mavis Joyce (1937-2000) and Margaret Catlow (1942). William Ernest Catlow then married Priscilla Day (1921) and they had four children, Joan (1949), Anne (1950), Maureen (1952) and Ian William (1954).
