I've just heard that my cousin Andrew Stanworth's wife Tracey died this morning age 37. Six and a half years after having a heart transplant. Tracey leaves two children David (16) and Rebecca (13) Both Tracey and Andrew are well known in Briercliffe. So very sad. A lovely brave lady. |

Just to say thank you to every-one for their kind thoughts. Tracey's funeral was yesterday. A service at St James followed by a burial at Wheatley Lane. I have never seen the church so full. Every seat was taken and also the balconies and people standing at the back. This is the first time I have heard modern music being played in church instead of hymns. Tracey had arranged the funeral herself and chosen the music. It was a very moving service and although older people may not be too keen on the music it felt right for some-one so young. Thank-you again |
