I think I remember t' cattle market' as being where the bus terminal was in the 50's/60's....am I right?
I used to get the Ribble bus from Rochdale to Burnley and then get a local bus t' t' Syke to stay with my grandparents on Granville Street. Thought I was very grown up travelling all by myself!!
