I've just read on the LostCousins newsletter that Nick Barratt (of WDYTYA fame) is publishing a new genealogy magazine. The 3rd issue has just been published.

Have placed a sub for 6 issues. £3.50 if you buy individual mag, £20 for 6.

I like Nick Barratt, looking forward to seeing if this mag is any different than the others out there. I tend to only buy a magazine if the front cover shows something that is of interest to me.

I might be interested in a 6month sub to that, let us know if it's any different when you get it.

Will do. Hope it doesn't take long to come. I requested to start from issue 2 but also ordered issue 1 as an extra.

I find these mags are all a bit samey, and like yourself I don't usually get one unless there is something I am definitely interested in.

Issue 1 arrived yesterday. I've not yet had chance to read it but I have flicked through.

I suppose issue 1 is a hard one as there would not really be any reader participation. Hoping to read it this weekend but it's VAT time so possibly not

Hard to judge from just the first issue but I think it will be another case of 'if the front cover appeals'.

There is an interesting Social History section.

I've submitted a request to this new magazine to see if I can get the Briercliffe Society a mention. Fingers crossed :|
