It appears I left my notebook in Briercliffe following Roger's talk yesterday. Argh!

I've contacted him, but if anyone knows who else I could consider contacting, I'll give them a go too!

btw Mel 1869 - Briercliffe riots.

Thanks Stephen.
How frustrating!
I will forward John Bentley's email address to you in the morning. He is the chap with the beard who was to the right of Gloria - at the end of the row. He is also the key holder.

Oh Stephen, how annoying. I am sure John will have picked it up if they put the chairs back---if not, someone will have it, and they are an honest lot up there.

Did you get your notes back Stephen?

I got my notes back (from myself). I seem to have misplaced them. Quite daft of me.

And yes, portia, nice to put another face to a name!

Stephen
You're too young to claim 'daft' as an excuse. That's the prerogative of us senior ladies and I include Mel in that! :-)

I am almost embarassingly forgetful, though. Hence putting notes down upon arrival home and then forgetting about where I'd put them. And having no recollection of bringing them in from the car.

I did enjoy a quick car journey of Lane Bottom environs after the talk the other week. Nice to be able to think more carefully about what was where and what things were called.
