You little beauty!! OH's grandmother had 4 - poss 5 - children by a man she lived with for several years before she married his grandfather. Annoyingly they never appear on a census together and so all I know is his name and the fact that he was a porter at Oldham Royal for a time (from the birth cert from one of their children). Following the link, it seems there's a chance his employment records may still exist. Now if I could get some information from there I moght be able to sollve one of the family's biggest mysteries.
