I am trying to find information about James Watson and Mary Watson. They are my g-g-g-grandparents.
James and Mary appear in the 1841 Census as living at Vernon Street, Nelson, with James being a Cotton Weaver.
James is in various Census reports having moved to Halifax, with his birth-place being recorded as "Briarcliff", being born around 1815. Mary was born around 1819.
Their daughter Sarah Ellen was born in Accrington around 1845, before the move to Halifax (1851 Census).

Hi, if you look under church records on the home page, put in Watson and there is a James born 1815. Hope this helps.
