:) Anybody know anything about a very, very old building on the road from Harle Syke to Nelson, same side as Haggate Graveyard and just before Kings Causeway? Possible age about 1500?

It is a beautiful old property, I managed to photograph it in summer but now I'm curious about it's history, who lived there, when, what is it called?

:( Nope, I havn't saved the picture, will have a go at another shot of it next time I pass, it is facing the golf course, it is very old, so probably has an interesting history.
it's not Little Ethersall is it?

Isn't Little Ethersall nearer the General Gordon, just after the top of Wades House Rd on the right---going towards Nelson.

:o Ah' that clarifies another question before I asked it. Renee Halstead lives at that address and in late 1800's one of my Thistlethwaites was a farmer at the same address,
