I have received this from a member of LFHHS

Hi Everyone,

I have only just discovered that the vast library held by the LDS Church is
actually held in a vault carved out of a granite mountain, near Salt Lake City.
If anyone is interested in seeing this amazing place, go to;
www.youtube.com
enter search term 'Granite Mountain Records Vault' and you will be able to view
a short video telling you about the place and it's origins. The amount of work
that went into the construction of this resource and the sheer volume of records
held there, to me, is unbelievable.

Whilst on the subject of Family Search, some of you may be interested to know
that on the Family Search Beta site (which is still under construction), there
are some useful tutorial videos on researching your family history in various
countries, including England and Ireland. These are particularly useful for
beginners.

If you want to view any of these;

Go to the Family Search Beta site
Click on 'How to' on the right hand side of the screen
On the next page, select a country of your choice - eg Ireland
Click on any one of the videos you prefer
This will then start up on your screen

Each video lasts about 30 mins - you can go backwards
