Farmer Bereaved

The death occurred at her home, Windle House Farm, Briercliffe, last Wednesday morning, of Mrs. Susannah Dinsdale, in her 66th year. she had been a comparative invalid since suffering a serious illness nearly three years ago. A native of Nelson, she and her husband, Mr. Thomas Dinsdale, farmed for a period at the Schofield Higher Farm, Nelson, prior to taking over Windle House some 25 years ago. Mrs. dinsdale, who was connected with Hill-lane Baptist Church during her residence in Briercliffe, is survived by her husband and four daughters. There are six grandchildren. The interment took place in the Haggate Baptist Burial Ground family vault last Saturday, the services being conducted by Mr. Willie E. Thornber. Floral tributes were sent by: Sorrowing husband and family; Fred and Frances; Ada and Tom; Margaret and Simon; Maggie; Billie; Peter and Edna (Burwain's Farm); Edith and Ted (Yeoman's Farm); Mr. and Mrs. Bates; Mr. and Mrs. R. Leaver; all at Hird House Farm; George, Annie and the girls; Lily, Harold and Keith (Cleckeaton). Arrangements by JOhn Atkinson, Ltd., Harle Syke.
