1957 – WATERWORTH Thomas Newell of 34 Queen Street, Briercliffe, Burnley died 22 February 1957 at Victoria Hospital, Burnley. Administration, Lancaster 27 March to Dorothy Atkinson (wife of James Atkinson). Effects 457 14s. 9d. Burnley Express and News, Wednesday, February 4, 1942. BRIERCLIFFE. Much sympathy is felt for Mr. and Mrs. T.N. Waterworth, of 34, Queen street, Harle Syke, in the loss they have suffered by the death of their elder daughter, Sarah Jane, which took place last Thursday after a long illness. Aged 21 years, she was formerly employed as a weaver at Hill End Manufacturing Co., and attended Hill-lane Chapel. She was interred at the Hill lane Baptist Chapel burial ground on Monday, the Rev. H. Hough officiating. Arrangements by Burnley Co-op. Soc. |
