Burnley and Pendle heritage week are running a series of events which includes the Oaks Hotel. Abraham Altham's old house. Thursday 12 September.2013. See Below.

4 Oaks Hotel
Oakleigh was built in 1883 as the home of
tea merchant Abraham Altham. This guided
tour gives you chance to see some of the fine
features of his beautiful house including the
stunning stained glass window – you may even
see the resident ghost. The tours are free but
please feel free to take advantage of Afternoon
Tea at the hotel (charged for).
Location: Colne Rd, Reedley BB10 2LF
Mtg Point: Reception
Open: 10am - 4pm
Booking: Just turn up

Thanks Plaques. I stayed at the Oaks last year, the original part is a lovely building. (Hotel was clean and modern)
