I am searching for Ellis & Sally (Ashworth)Nutter married May 13, 1799 in St Peter's, Burnley. Ellis' birthdate 1774 at Briercliffe, Sally's 1778 at Briercliffe I have a copy of their marriage record. (They are the parents of Edmund b 1809 & Richard b 1807 Someone on a Lancs list found two others who may be siblings...William buried 17.1.1803 & Joshua buried 17.1. buried 14.6.1807. I also have on the Haggate Burial index an Ellis Nutter of Coprow 3 Sept 1843. Can anyone help connecting Sally to her Ashworths? And is anyone researching this particular Ellis Nutter & can help me fill in the pieces? I have been at this brick wall for a long time & can't seem to get anywhere. Janet |
