Might be worth contacting Burnley Historical Society, they have a web page and might have some more info. Also LFHHS has a Pendle branch which covers that area. |

Hi, My name is Ben Folds. I'm an American pianist/songwriter - lots of albums and touring for the last 25 years. I'm about to embark on a UK tour again, and did some digging around and we connected my name back to Foulds of Daneshouse - Lancashire. I noticed this topic and some other Foldses - I was told Foulds Lifts in Colne might have a connection. For what it's worth, here I am and I'll dig through some of what all of you have generously posted - though its seems this is quite an old thread. Either way, hello. Ben |
