Hi, I'm trying to trace my Great Uncle Ernest Halstead. The only clue I have is from a press cutting that I have entitles 'Brian's Homers Won Six Trophies'. You can view this cutting under 'Mollie's Attic' in the photograph section of this website! I believe that Brian Clarke is still alive and living in the area. Can anyone help me to locate Brian? He may be able to tell me a little bit more about Ernest Halstead who was the 'President of the Nelson Society' at the time of Brian's famous win. I have no idea when this event took place! Ernest was born in 1888 and appears to be an elderly man in the press cutting photo. Look forward to hearing from you all. :?
