Taken from LFHHS yahoo forum

English Heritage and its Scottish and Welsh equivalents have launched a new website containing the Aerofilms Archives http://www.britainfromabove.org.uk

There are pictures of Lancashire and the whole of the country and it is searcheable - but very slow as so busy.

The BBC website http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-18542080 has a taster of what you might see and the quality of the pictures.
