yes, and her sister Elizabeth Todd who married John Smith Leaver, Richard's Brother.

My 2x great grandfather, John Todd, was the oldest brother of Richard Todd, and the first child of Henry Todd and Martha, (nee Stanworth). He married Elizabeth Nutter at St. Peter's Church on January 4th, 1841, and so was a separate household from his parents and siblings at the time of the 1841 census. Elizabeth was the daughter of Joshua Nutter, deceased.

Yes, I've seen the Todd M.I.s on the site, and the photos of the gravestones. The earlier Todds are my family but I'm not sure how the later ones fit in.

My Todd line was the first one I started researching, pre-computer, and I haven't worked on it for a while so I'll have to sort out the information.

Henry Todd was baptised at St. Peter's Church in Burnley on 6 October 1794. He was the son of Henry Todd and Nanny Whitaker. The elder Henry was responsible for starting a Sunday School in Extwistle, and his son taught there, in addition to his regular job. (This information from A History of Briercliffe.)

Henry Todd married Martha Stanworth at St. Peter's on 30 March 1815. They were my 3x gt grandparents.
